Mumbai, October 31, 2026: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) reported record gross revenue of ₹3,62,268 crore for the July-September quarter of FY2026-27, up 27.8% from a year earlier, as stronger refining margins and growth in digital services supported its performance.
The company’s Q2 FY27 financial highlights list EBITDA of ₹62,409 crore, up 23.9%, and profit after tax (PAT) of ₹29,550 crore, up 33.8%. The PAT figure includes the share of profit from associates and joint ventures. Revenue from operations rose 28.6% to ₹3,32,861 crore, while capital expenditure during the quarter was ₹38,153 crore.
RIL’s profit attributable to owners of the company was reported separately at ₹25,548 crore, a 40.6% year-on-year increase. This is a different measure from the ₹29,550-crore PAT figure, which includes associate and joint-venture earnings.
Oil-to-chemicals and digital services lead growth
The oil-to-chemicals (O2C) business was a major earnings driver. Reuters reported that O2C core earnings rose sharply as stronger transportation-fuel cracks and petrochemical margins lifted refining profitability. Jio Platforms’ core earnings increased 16.6%, while Reliance Retail’s core earnings fell 10.2% and its margin narrowed to 7.8%, reflecting investment in digital commerce, higher costs and a later festive-season contribution.
The results show the strength of RIL’s energy and digital businesses, while also highlighting the margin pressure and investment cycle in retail. The company’s official investor page provides the quarterly financial highlights and management commentary.
