Mumbai, October 29, 2026: Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) reported turnover of ₹18,071 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, with underlying sales growth of 15% and underlying volume growth of 7%. The company announced the results on October 28.
HUL said the 15% underlying sales growth was its strongest in 14 quarters. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 8% year-on-year to ₹4,089 crore, while the EBITDA margin was 22.6%.
Profit and dividend
Profit after tax before exceptional items grew 9% year-on-year. Reported profit after tax was ₹2,796 crore and remained broadly flat, which the company attributed to a one-off tax-related gain in the year-earlier comparison period. The board also declared an interim dividend of ₹19 per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
Performance across categories
The company reported 22% underlying sales growth in Home Care, 16% in Beauty & Wellbeing and 9% in Foods. HUL said volume-led growth and market-development activity supported demand, while margins continued to reflect cost and investment considerations. The figures are company-reported results and should not be read as a guarantee of future performance.
