New Delhi, November 5, 2026: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) sold 9,332 flats between April and October in the 2026-27 financial year, registering an increase of about 80 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year.
The sales figure compares with 5,198 flats sold during the first seven months of FY26, according to a report by Amar Ujala and coverage in the Indian Express’s November 5 news archive.
Sales increase in the first seven months
The reported numbers indicate that DDA’s flat sales rose by 4,134 units year-on-year during April–October. The increase suggests stronger uptake of the authority’s housing inventory during the current financial year.
DDA is a statutory urban planning and development body responsible for housing and land development in the national capital. Its housing stock includes flats across different locations, categories and price bands.
What prospective buyers should check
People considering a DDA property should verify the latest scheme details directly with the authority, including the location, category, carpet area, price, payment schedule, possession status and eligibility conditions. The aggregate sales figure does not mean that all DDA schemes or categories are currently open for applications.
Buyers should rely on DDA’s official notices and payment instructions rather than unofficial agents or social media claims. Availability and allotment terms can differ by scheme.
