Apollo Hospitals Enterprises reported a 32% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the second quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, supported by growth across its healthcare, diagnostics and retail businesses.
The hospital chain posted consolidated net profit of ₹630 crore for Q2 FY27, compared with ₹477 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Consolidated revenue increased 23% to ₹7,615 crore from ₹6,189 crore.
Operating performance improves
The company’s consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 29% to ₹1,191 crore, compared with ₹924 crore in the year-ago quarter, according to the results reported by Business Standard.
Growth in the hospital business, higher international patient inflows and performance across business segments supported the quarterly performance.
What the results indicate
The latest figures point to continued demand across organised healthcare services. Hospital operators are also expanding capacity and investing in specialised care, diagnostics and related services. Revenue and profit growth, however, should be assessed alongside margins, capital expenditure, debt and segment-level performance.
